Who we are
The Zellis independent User Group (ZiUG) was established to provide a forum to exchange information and best practice sharing among ResourceLink, HCM Cloud users and Zellis.
With a mission to bring the collective voices and thoughts of our members to drive the success of the user community.
Membership provides you with access to an environment where you can share, educate, innovate, collaborate and influence into product strategy roadmap.

Meet the team
Asraf Kassam, ZiUG Chair
Asraf is the ZiUG chair, he has been actively involved with Resourcelink for over 15 years, specialises in system implementations, programme management and enabling digital services on line. Asraf has an excellent knowledge and understanding of the overall product suite from a business and technical understanding as well as strategic direction of travel. Asraf is an active member of the ZiUG committee and in his capacity as chair, has been instrumental in forming a collaborative and working partnership with Zellis, he is passionate about the product, always looking to improve the employee journey with automation, innovation and digital methods to deliver HR & Payroll business processes. Asraf’s vision is to create a user community that is knowledgeable, learning and sharing from fellow peers and to encourage maximum usage of every functionality in Resourcelink.
Jane McNeill, Secretary
Jane is a HR System Project Manager, she currently works at the University of Manchester and has been a user of ResourceLink since 2006. Her expertise lies around implementing self-service, system administration & payroll.
Lisa Martin, Scottish Chair
Lisa is chair of the Scottish user group and has worked in payroll for over 17 years, using ResourceLink and MyView during this whole period. Lisa’s background is in the public sector where she started her career with the Scottish Court Service before moving to Falkirk Council in 2008. With a speciality in HR and payroll systems, Lisa brings knowledge and experience to the group. In her current role Lisa has responsibility for the operational payroll team and the HR and Payroll systems development team at Falkirk Council. This gives her a real insight into the challenges faced from a daily payroll perspective but also from a system development and maintenance point of view. Lisa has always been an active member of the customer groups attending both the UK and Scottish Customer sessions whenever possible. Lisa recently completed her CIPP Foundation degree in payroll management and will be graduating in November. When she is not working, Lisa is a professional taxi driver, cleaner and cook for her two daughters and her son.
John Keane, ROI Chair
John Keane is Director of Human Resources at St Vincent’s University Hospital (Dublin) which is a leading academic teaching hospital in the provision front line, acute, chronic and emergency care across with in excess of 4,000 staff over 50 different medical and surgical specialities. Over a combined period of in excess of 20 years with the Hospital, John has occupied a number of senior HR Leadership and Management roles which have included the implementation of a range of HR and payroll technology solutions (e.g. ResourceLink, MyView, Optimum T&A & Business Intelligence) across the Hospital and St Michaels Hospital, Dun Laoghaire. John has a strong interest in the effective utilisation of HR technology to support ongoing organisational change and innovation.
Hayley Ashwell, Member
Hayley brings with her a wealth of public sector and ResourceLink knowledge and experience of implementing a massive transformation and digital program over the last 12 months at the council by implementing new modules and/or tweaking existing business processes to include Time Management, Mileage & Expense, Vehicle, MyTeam Process, Personnel Forms, Irregular Claims, Delegations, MyForms, Training, PDR & Competencies.
